WOODLAND HOUSE,
SILVERWOOD INDUSTRIAL AREA,
SILVERWOOD ROAD,
LURGAN

This facility provided manufacturing and warehouse space for this light engineering company together with a linked office block for sales, management and technical departments, generous parking and hardstanding areas for vehicles.

The site has been planned by Andrew Nesbitt architects to allow future expansion and development as the company has ambitious growth plans for entering new markets and introducing new product lines.

The design delivers a crisp modern engineering plant with functional office suite.  This was achieved within a strict budget with value engineering principles applied to the project design at all stages from inception through to detail design and construction.

Andrew Nesbitt architects were architects and CDM Co-ordinators for the project, which was awarded after competitive tendering on a JCT Contract to M.E.C. Ltd. who constructed the entire project in 9 months to an exemplary standard of workmanship.

The completed building was subject to Air Permeability testing under the new SBEM Regulations and achieved a successful rating and also met the design targets for Co2 emissions.
